The Market Project

The Market has been and still is the crucible of human social relations and possibility. A place to meet, to talk, to explore, to perform, to exchange and to find common cause. The market is a world unto itself but what will it become? What is the fate of the market?

The Market is a live immersive experience played by 24 people over the course of 3 hours. Through a mixture of role play, theatre, locative media, and interaction design in a real artisan market in Montreal participants will experience and shape the markets present and future; imagining the contours of a society they hope for or fear.
