Eyes

Dear EYES,

Welcome!

You are the visual interpreter for your team. The EARS will tell you the stories they hear —including the suggestion at the end of each story. Your role is to decide how to creatively translate this information into a photo of some THING in the market.

Remember, this is not a digital camera where every image is disposable. You only have 20 photos. Don’t waste them. You need to make them last through the three rounds of the game!

Once you have taken your photos for the round, bring them back to the table and share them with your HANDS and EARS. Together you can decide to display them, to trade them, or to discard them.

YOUR CAMERA IS ALREADY LOADED AT THE START.  You will need to reload the film to use your second 10 photos.

Here is how to use your camera(but you can always ask the staff for help!):

General tips:

  • Do not open the back cover until you have used all the film—otherwise the rest of the film will be unusable;
  • Hold the camera so that nothing is covering one of the sensors, the lens or the film ejection slot;
  • Position the circle in the viewfinder so that it is slightly up and to the right of whatever you want to center in your photo.

YOU’RE READY TO TAKE A PICTURE BUT  WAIT FOR YOUR EARS TO TELL YOU THE STORY THEY HEARD BEFORE DECIDING WHAT TO PHOTOGRAPH!

When you need to reload  the film…
